Who am i
Hello friends,
You are reading my blog, that means we have some common interests. On that basis, we can be friends. Friends who share their experience.
This is my first page of first blog and i am using it to introduce myself to you. I am a Software Engineer by profession. Well now a days we are in abundance :D. But each and every person has learned on his own course. I am learning too. So, i have decided to share my knowledge with others, like some of colleagues and friends have helped me during my confusions. I am thankful to them. I'll share what i have learnt and what i'll learn on this blog.
Now a days i am working with shell scripting. And i can't believe i am enjoying it. As far as i remember i hated it during my college days. There was a big book on Unix, its commands ( which are in abundance ) and that killing chapter of regular expressions. DAMM IT. I tried a lot to cram it, its uses and options. And i did a little bit but only for exams. And big reason was i never felt any need to learn it. I mean a GUI is available for almost everything , so why should one learn commands. That justifies my position, according to my knowledge and experience of that time. But now i know what commands can do.
A teacher makes a student. Its a fact. My interest in programming was groomed by my java mentor, who used to praise everyone for their good work in class. When you get some praise in front of your crush and she is appreciating it. Believe me it is the best motivation factor. And it worked for me ;).
For some initial programs, i got that motivation and then i continued. I learned some tits and bits of java, tried my hands on some projects (until you have some targets to achieve, you can't measure what u have learnt ).
I have done my B.Tech from JMIT Radaur ( a pvt college affiliated to Kurukshetra University) and my M.Tech from Thapar University, Patiala.
I'll share my experiences and my learning here. It is always good to have someone with you on your journey. Stay with me. Do follow this blog. Hope you'll enjoy this journey.
